From the estate of Norman and Pauline Woolworth, Norman's father established 'F.W. Woolworth". The scenes are filled with Kings, Queens, Knights, assorted royal figures, horses, castles, animals, and ships. The scenes possibly depict Arthurian legend or "RIchard the Lionheart". There are numerous roundels in the center of the cloth filled with dense florals and further Appenzel embroidery throughout the cloth. Measuring apprx. 175" by 66". There are sixteen matching napkins. In very good condition, one small hole, absolutely minor. |
